Working-Dog Methodology.
Adapted to Life at Home
For owners of high-drive and reactive dogs who want real obedience, real communication, and a dog they can actually live with.
Are you timing your walks around when the street will be empty? You’re scanning ahead for other dogs before your dog even sees them. You’ve done the classes, the treats, … and your dog is still the one deciding how the walk goes?
That’s not a training gap you can close with more repetition. Standard companion training was built for average pet breeds; High-drive, working-line dogs aren’t average pets. They need structure, clear markers, and a handler who can communicate with precision while being the stable leader they need.
We work with dogs that other trainers have refused. Pullers, reactors, dogs labeled “too much” for group classes. Using working-dog methodology drawn from drive-based systems, marker training, and real-world proofing, we give you and your dog a framework they actually understand.
If this sounds like something you could benefit from, book your free assesment call where we walk you through our approach.

About us
I train high-energy and working-breed dogs, the ones standard methods tend to fail, and the owners who are ready to take real responsibility for what their dog actually needs.
I came to this work the hard way, through my own dog, Pluto: A difficult rescue that standard training couldn’t touch. Figuring out what he actually needed led me to NePoPo® methodology and, from there, to working-dog training as a discipline in its own right.
My approach draws on three lineages that, in my experience, aren’t usually combined: the drive-based systems from STSK9, the mechanical structure and precision of NePoPo, and the marker, motivation, and real-world application work of Michael Ellis. Each solves a different part of the problem: drive, structure, communication and together they cover what a dog actually needs to become stable and reliable.
I’m a NePoPo® Gold certified graduate, trained in Belgium under Hans Verbruggen. I’m also an active member of a KNPV (Royal Dutch Police Dog Association) club in the North of Ireland, and I keep training through ongoing seminars and mentorship.
But credentials are the baseline, not the pitch. What matters is what the dogs can do afterward. I work with severely reactive dogs other trainers have given up on, and high-drive breeds their owners assumed were uncontrollable. Using counter-conditioning, marker-based reinforcement, and balanced drive work, I move dogs from crisis to something closer to partnership.
The dogs I work with don’t just sit and stay. They hold themselves together around triggers. Their owners stop managing and start leading.
I run two programs: Foundation, Progression, and Performance for owners of high-energy dogs who want real obedience and real-world reliability, and a full Behavioral Rehabilitation program for owners of severely reactive dogs who are ready to commit to a system that works.
I’m based in Wicklow and work in person across Wicklow, Kildare, and Dublin. This isn’t a shortcut business; it’s a methodology, and it requires presence and consistency.
In dog training, while improvements are often seen fast, there is no such thing as a quick fix to resolving real behaviour issues in a lasting way.
