Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Pluto & Co K9 Training, and “you” refers to the customer (consumer or business).

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern:

• The purchase of products from our online store
• The purchase and booking of in-person dog training sessions
• The purchase of online consultations
• The use of our website and contact forms

By placing an order or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Ordering Process & Contract Formation

Products (Online Store)

1. Items displayed on the website represent an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer.
2. You add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
3. By clicking “Place Order”, you submit a binding offer to purchase the products.
4. You will receive an automatic order confirmation email. This email does not constitute acceptance.
5. The purchase contract is concluded when you receive a second email confirming dispatch of your order.

Services (Training Sessions & Online Coaching)

• Booking a session (in-person or online) constitutes a binding request.
• Confirmation of date/time sent by email or WhatsApp/SMS forms the service agreement.
• Training services are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

Accepted payment methods:

• Stripe
• WooCommerce supported payment options

Payments for services are due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

4. Shipping & Delivery (Products)

• We ship to: Ireland only.
• Shipping costs are displayed at checkout before you submit your order.
• Delivery times are typically 3–7 business days within Ireland.
• Delays caused by couriers or customs are outside our control.

If an item is out of stock, you will be informed before the contract is accepted.

5. Returns & Refunds (Products)

Consumers have the right to return products purchased from our shop in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

You may return unused products within 14 days of delivery.

6. Cancellation Policy for Services

In-Person Training Sessions

• Sessions cancelled more than 48 hours in advance: no fee.
• Sessions cancelled within 48 hours: 50% of the session fee may be charged.
• Sessions cancelled within 24 hours: full fee may be charged.

Online Consultations

• Cancellable up to 24 hours before the session with no charge.
• Later cancellations or no-shows are fully payable.

We reserve the right to deny services or reschedule where safety concerns arise.

7. Customer Responsibilities (Training Services)

For in-person training:

• You are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for training.
• Dogs must be healthy, vaccinated when required, and non-contagious.
• You must follow instructions during training to ensure safety.
• We are not liable for injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content including training materials, videos, text, images, brand assets, and course content is protected by copyright.

Content may not be copied, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Liability

We are fully liable for:

• intentional misconduct
• gross negligence
• injury to life, health, or safety
• breaches of essential contractual obligations

We are not liable for:

• damage resulting from misuse of training tools
• damage caused by failure to implement training instructions
• behaviour issues arising outside sessions
• indirect or consequential losses

Liability for simple negligence is limited to foreseeable damages.

10. Warranty (Products)

Products sold in the online store benefit from the statutory warranty rights under EU and Irish law.

Warranty does not apply to:

• misuse
• normal wear and tear
• damage caused by the dog or handler beyond normal use

11. User Accounts & Website Use

When creating an account, you agree to:

• provide accurate information
• maintain confidentiality of your login details
• be responsible for all activity under your account

We may suspend or delete accounts used unlawfully or abusively.

We are not obligated but are willing to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, mandatory consumer protections in your country continue to apply.

Place of jurisdiction for business customers: Ireland.

14. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully enforceable.
Invalid provisions will be replaced by the applicable legal rule.
