Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We know trusting someone with your dog is a big decision. That’s why we’ve answered the questions most owners ask, to give you peace of mind and confidence before booking. Check below to see if your doubts are already answered.
Yes, but only after an honest assessment over the phone. Full transparency is essential. If a client presents a dog as “friendly” but it turns out to be a genuine danger to myself or the public, I reserve the right to cancel the program. This is not because I refuse to work with difficult or aggressive dogs, but because I value honesty and need to understand the situation I am walking into.
Absolutely. Helping you start on the right track with your puppy is one of the best investments you can make in your dog’s future.
Sessions can take place in your home, a local park, or another location that suits you. I primarily service South Dublin, West Wicklow, and Kildare. Training outside of these areas can be arranged, but additional travel charges may apply.
Because one session simply is not enough. Training a dog is a long-term commitment, and I want to work with clients who are equally committed. Packages ensure we have the time to make real progress together.
My training is built on rewards, engagement, and clarity. Tools such as prongs or e-collars are not part of my standard approach because lasting results come from building motivation and clear communication.
That said, some owners already use these tools before they come to me. If that is the case, I am open to advising on how they can be applied fairly, with the long-term goal of reducing reliance on them and building more focus on relationship and engagement.
I am NePoPo® Silver certified and currently enrolled in the STSK9 MVP program under Nino Drowaert. I will also pursue the NePoPo® Gold certification in 2026. You can read more about my training background on the Training Methods page.
Yes, I train both. While my personal passion lies with shepherd breeds and working dogs, the methods I use are universal. My main goal is to help owners succeed with their dogs and keep them out of shelters.
No. A package is designed to move your dog much further along in their training journey, but training is a lifelong process. Consistency and practice beyond our sessions are what truly create lasting results.
Not as much as you might think. Two short sessions of 10 to 15 minutes a day, alongside your dog’s normal exercise, are enough to make significant progress over time.
If clients put in the work and consistently apply what they are taught, I guarantee results. In the rare case where a client has genuinely done their best and sees no improvement, I will refund the cost of the package.
I cover South Dublin, Kildare, and West Wicklow (including Blessington, Baltinglass, and surrounding areas).
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so I can adjust my calendar. In the case of a no-show, the session will be forfeited with no refund or reschedule option.

Pluto & Co. is not the right fit for everyone. I may not be the trainer for you if:
- You are looking for a quick fix in one session.
- You are unwilling to practice outside of our training time.
- You expect someone else to “train the dog for you” without your involvement.
- You are not open to honest feedback and coaching.
Training is a partnership. If you are ready to put in the work, I will meet you there and give you the structure and clarity to succeed.
